What happens when you dance where no one has ever danced before?
Just ask the folks at BANDALOOP, a dance troupe that uses their surroundings in a new and unique way. Dancers use rock-climbing equipment to perform high-flying art pieces on rock formations and on the SIDES of buildings. By reimagining the places where dance happens, BANDALOOP creates art that is more than the sum of its parts and allows us to encounter mundane objects with fresh eyes.

Art pushes boundaries and encourages us to explore the edges of possibility.
By flipping the dance floor on its side, BANDALOOP breaks with convention and invites us to experience our world in a new way. You might not think of yourself as a “dance person,” but just think of how natural it is that we bob our heads and tap our feet when we hear music we love.
Exploring the movement of the human body is a beautiful and exciting thing that can bring us together!
