Did you know you are home to millions and millions of invisible creatures?
For some, it may be scary to learn that our bodies are home to so many single-celled organisms. The good news is, these invisible creatures are a vital part of your health and development! The microbiome is a fascinating subject. To introduce us to the remarkable organisms that call us home, we have a great video from one of our favorite YouTube channels, It’s Okay to be Smart!
Microorganisms keep us alive and healthy, yet we know so little about them. It’s fascinating to learn new things about ourselves, especially such important things, like what helps keep us healthy.
Learning about things like your microbiome helps us to understand more fully how our bodies work and what we need to do to stay happy and healthy.
Joe Hanson, Ph.D. is a curious group of atoms in a curious universe, and he’s here to tell you how it all works. New science videos come out every week on the It’s Okay To Be Smart Channel!
