5 minute lesson
How would our lives be different today if Earth’s continents were arranged differently?
How have the changing continents affected the species who live on them? Today, we explore a topic many have probably never taken the time to think about.
Often, we take for granted the fact that the ground beneath our feet has been, and always will be, in the same place. But the continents of our planet are constantly moving and shifting! So let’s see what effect their movements have had on what’s around us.
Our planet is a dynamic place! We’re constantly learning more and more about its ancient past, and because of this, we get to look closer at the species and habitats that are now long gone. And it’s when we learn more about these lives that are no longer with us that we’re able to discover even more about the fascinating history of our planet!
So, let’s keep exploring how that ancient history has changed the way our world looks today!
