What if ice could come to life?
At the Ice Festival in Geilo, Norway, a team braves the cold to harvests ice from Scandinavian lakes and rivers and turns it into glittering musical instruments. Even though the performers and the audience all have to wear winter clothes, everyone has a blast exploring the combination of art, music, and the wintry landscape of Norway. This video from Mashable shows us the sights and sounds of this fantastic, frozen festival.
Take a look!
True creativity is the combination of things that otherwise would never work together. Making music with blocks of ice might seem totally bizarre, but after watching this video I hope you are just as intrigued by this creative concept as I am! This concept reminds us that the best new ideas come from some wacky combinations.
For instance, check out this article about the innovative paper microscope, a genius project that might seem a little strange at first.
Try to make some crazy combinations yourself!
