5 minute lesson
Learning doesn’t end when you leave school, you continue to learn for the rest of your life!
Engaging in practice, whether it’s a lifelong passion or hobby, or taking up a new skill, is an important part of keeping our brains active. In fact, our brains don’t stop changing when we reach adulthood, they are actually capable of rearranging themselves as we age! Yes, our brains are built for lifelong learning!
Keeping our brains happy and healthy is very important for our overall health and well being at any age. By continuing to exercise and use our brains as we get older, we are making sure that we stay mentally active.
No matter how old you get, you can still learn new and exciting things!
SciShow explores the unexpected. Seven days a week, Hank Green, Michael Aranda, and Olivia Gordon delve into the scientific subjects that defy our expectations and make us even more curious!
